OUR PHILOSOPHY
Calm Leadership. Real Enrichment. Thoughtful Care.
We believe dogs are at their best when they’re given:
• Space to move naturally
• Clear boundaries and guidance
• Meaningful social interaction
Adventure walks aren’t about letting dogs run wild — they’re about intentional freedom, supervised by someone who understands dog behavior, energy, and group dynamics.

Kind words from our dog families

They can be sure to rely on me with taking amazing care of their pets, and showering them with the amount of affection they are used to. Read below to see what’s been said about Paws Out. “Karen is fantastic - she loves the dogs as much as their owners do. Our dog can't wait for her to arrive - and sometimes doesn't want to get out of her car on the return! I have found her cuddling him before she takes him out. She is also completely reliable and communicates well. The dogs get a 1.5+ hour run, swim and they love it.”

“Karen is AMAZING! She loves my dog as much as I do and takes excellent care of him. He is exhausted and happy after his sessions with her. She is very aware of his needs and even keeps a running journal for us so we know what Tater has been up to all day! Karen is trustworthy, reliable and flexible. She is a joy to work with and her rates are competitive and worth every penny. She is always willing to go the extra mile (pardon the pun) and we just adore her. You couldn't do better for your pet.”
Suzanne Miller
“Karen is fantastic! She not only takes my two dogs for a romp every weekday while i am at work, she also leaves me a lengthy note about what they did, where they went, and what they explored or commands they worked on. Karen encourages two-way communication, and has been a godsend helping me train my curious puppy. She is also extremely reliable--i don't think she has been sick one day in the 2 years i have used her services. I would highly recommend her! She really cares, and it shows.”

ABOUT ME
Meet the Founder Behind Paws Out
Calm leadership. Intentional freedom. Thoughtful care
Hi, my name is Karen Goldstein, and my work with dogs has always been rooted in one simple belief — dogs thrive best when they’re guided with calm leadership, clear structure,
and genuine care.
My journey began in 2009, during a time when I longed to adopt a dog but was unable to due to my living arrangements. Rather than stepping away from that connection, I chose a different path — one that allowed me to spend my days caring for dogs, learning their behavior, and building meaningful relationships with them instead.
Over the years, that path grew into Paws Out, a boutique dog walking service focused on small-group, off-leash adventure walks designed to support confident, balanced dogs through thoughtful structure and intentional freedom.
I believe dogs need space to move naturally, opportunities for healthy social interaction, and consistent guidance they can trust. Every group is carefully matched, every walk thoughtfully planned, and every adventure led with calm, steady energy — ensuring dogs feel safe, relaxed, and engaged rather than overstimulated.
Based in the MetroWest area, I proudly serve Natick, Wellesley, Sherborn, Wayland, Dover, and surrounding communities, offering dependable care and consistent routines for families who want their dogs treated like individuals — not managed like a number.
At Paws Out, my goal is never simply exercise.
It’s to create enriching experiences that support a dog’s physical well-being, emotional balance, and overall confidence — while giving owners true peace of mind.

“My puppy is part of my family, and I just hate leaving her in a kennel where she won’t receive any personal attention while I’m out of town. With Paws Out, I know she is getting her daily dose of belly rubs, cuddles, and lots of fun walks.”
