ABOUT ME
Meet The Founder, Animal Lover, and Chief Dog Walker Behind Paws Out, LLC.
Hi, my name is Karen Goldstein. My story begins back in 2009. For many years I wanted to adopt a shelter dog but was unable to because of my living arrangements. But that didn’t stop me. And so, I started thinking about how I could spend time with
dogs without having to necessarily adopt one.
As luck would have it, I found a job as a dog walker with a local company and that got me thinking even more. You see, I've always had an entrepreneurial spirit, which led me
to a decision that was easy to make and required very little thought; start my own dog walking and pet care business whose USP would be to deliver the utmost in customer service.
Thus, in a nutshell, Paws Out, LLC. came to be, a locally owned and operated boutique pet care service proudly serving Natick, Wayland, Framingham, Sherborn, and Wellesley since 2009.
A bit more about me…I graduated from Simmons College
in Boston, Massachusetts with a B.A. in Psychology
with the dream of one day becoming the next (Sigmund Freud).
And not so long ago, I was a professional event photographer who had the pleasure of photographing numerous weddings, Bar Mitzvahs as well as family portraits.
Fast forward some years later...
I am now the mom of two happy and healthy rescued cats, and
a proud member in goodstanding of the Pet Sitters Association.
Additionally, I have had the honor of working side-by-side with several certified dogtrainers in the greater Boston area.
I also have experience in puppy training, nutrition, and behavior modification, pack management, canine communication, body language, safety and fight protocols, leash manners, trail etiquette and recalls.
When I'm not busy walking dogs, you'll find me jamming on my drums, reading online news aggregate, shopping at the
local pet stores, binge watching Seinfeld, or hanging out with my cats.
