Just like babies, puppies are a lot of work and we are here to help save your carpet and furniture by keeping your same training schedule so your carpets don't get soiled and your furniture gets chewed. With our help, your puppy can learn the rules of your house at an early age with the consistency we provide. We reinforce the words you are using  and get all their puppy energy out.

As your puppy grows and gains experience, they can smoothly transition into our small-group off-leash adventure walks when they are ready.

When Can Puppies Start Adventure Walks?

Puppies can begin social puppy visits as early as 5–6 months, once they have received their required vaccinations and veterinarian approval.

Walk Times

We come to your home to feed, play with, and care for your new puppy. We reinforce early manners and make sure your pup is happy, safe, and ready to relax until you return.

 We do puppy visits weekdays (weekends if requested) except for major holidays. You may choose from 1x or 2x per day. We require a minimum of 4 visits per week commitment, and more if you need.

Each visit is guaranteed
a minimum of 15-20 minutes of playtime
and sometimes more!

Most puppy visits are scheduled between
9:00am-10:00am (early morning). Additional
or second puppy visits can be made between 12:00pm-2:00.
We cannot guarantee specific visit times,
but we try to accommodate requests wherever possible.

Puppy Visit FAQ

• What age can puppies start dog walking?​

Puppy's can begin leash training walks at 4 months. They can begin small adventure group walks as early as 5 months, providing they have all their puppy vaccinations and approval from your veterinarian. 

• How many puppy visits per day do I need?

Depending on the age of your puppy- you may choose to have
1-2 potty breaks througout the day; these visits include lots of play and structured walk time. 

• Do puppy visits include training?

Yes. All puppy visits receive guidance on proper leash, basic commands,  all with positive reinforcement.

Do you offer puppy visits in Wellesley, Dover, and Sherborn?

Yes. Paws Out provides puppy visits for families in Natick, Wellesley, Dover and Sherborn Massachusetts. Many puppies begin with home visits before joining our small group adventure walks.
