PAWS OUT DOG WALKING
Policies
These terms help ensure clarity, consistency, and the best possible experience
for every dog and family we serve
Paws Out provides structured, off-leash trail adventures designed to support balanced, confident, and well-exercised dogs.
To ensure a consistent and high-quality experience for every dog and family, the following policies outline how our services operate.
Our Approach
Paws Out offers small-group, off-leash pack hikes with a focus on structure, safety,
and thoughtful group dynamics.
Services are intentionally limited to maintain a calm, balanced environment and ensure each dog receives proper attention.
Membership & Billing
• Services are offered through a monthly membership based on a reserved weekly schedule
• Walk spots are held exclusively for each member
• Billing occurs monthly and reflects your dog’s reserved schedule
• Membership secures consistent placement within a structured walking group
Vacation Allowance
We kindly ask for at least 2 weeks’ notice for any planned time away so we can adjust pack scheduling accordingly.
Because each dog has a reserved spot in a small, consistent group, membership remains unchanged during vacations or time away.
This allows for advance planning while maintaining your dog’s reserved placement
in the group.
Membership remains active during this time to maintain your dog’s reserved placement
in the group.
Additional time away is billed to maintain reserved placement.
-
Payments are processed through our scheduling platform.
-
Clients are billed on a monthly basis for their weekly reserved walk schedule.
-
By enrolling in ongoing services, clients are reserving dedicated space in our weekly routes. Because availability is limited, charges apply regardless of attendance, including client vacations, personal days, or last-minute cancellations.
-
This structure allows Paws Out to maintain consistent scheduling and dependable care for all clients.
Scheduling & Availability
-
Walk days and schedules are arranged in advance
-
Schedules remain consistent week-to-week to support structure and pack balance
-
Availability is limited due to small group sizes
-
Membership clients receive priority placement
Meet & Greets
A meet & greet is required prior to starting services. This ensures compatibility, safety,
and a good fit within our walking groups.
Cancellations & Changes
-
Walk spots are reserved in advance for each member
-
Missed days are not credited or refunded
-
Advance notice is always appreciated for scheduling awareness
Because walk spots are reserved in advance, late cancellations prevent us from
offering that space to another client.
Weather Policy
Paws Out operates in typical New England weather, including rain, snow, and cold temperatures.
Safety always comes first. Walks may be modified, shortened, or adjusted in cases of:
-
Extreme temperatures
-
Unsafe trail conditions
-
Severe weather
Holidays
Paws Out operates on a consistent membership structure throughout the year,
including holidays.
Walks may be adjusted, rescheduled, or modified due to holidays, weather, or access limitations (such as road closures).
This ensures continuity and your dog’s reserved place in the pack.
On select minor holidays, walks may be offered on a limited basis.
Client Absences & Time Away
Because walk spots are reserved in advance, scheduled services remain billable
regardless of attendance.:
-
illness
-
vacations
-
personal scheduling changes
Clients are encouraged to notify us as early as possible when their dog will be absent.
Walker Illness or Time Off
As a small, owner-operated business, occasional interruptions may occur due
to illness or unforeseen circumstances.
Whenever possible, schedule adjustments or additional time may be provided.
Membership remains consistent to maintain structure and reserved placement.
Puppy Walks
Puppy walks are available for both new and existing clients
and are designed to support early routines, confidence-building,
and age-appropriate outings.
All puppy services are offered based on availability and suitability.
Dog Requirements & Safety
-
Dogs must be friendly, social, and comfortable in a group setting
-
Dogs must be up to date on vaccinations
-
Any history of aggression must be disclosed
Paws Out reserves the right to pause or discontinue services if a dog’s behavior
presents a safety concern.

Clear and respectful communication is a priority.
Messages are responded to as promptly as possible during business hours.
Service Area
Paws Out is based in Natick, Massachusetts and serves select MetroWest communities. Service areas may vary based on route availability.

Policies may be updated periodically. Continued use of services indicates acceptance
of current policies.
